View ArticleWelcome to Bayside Veterinary Hospital in Point Loma, California. Our veterinarians, veterinary dermatologists, dog groomer and talented veterinary assistants are proud to provide superior pet care to the greater San Diego pet community. Our animal vet clinic offers routine wellness screenings, vaccinations, dental care, urgent care and emergency care. Dr. Mariann Rozsa, a licensed veterinarian, leads our Point Loma veterinary wellness team. We are proud to be one of the leading veterinary hospitals in the San Diego area.
Our animal vet clinic is committed to providing the best possible care for Point Loma pets. Our veterinary team cares for dogs, cats, pocket pets, rabbits, birds, reptiles and small farm animals. We are lucky to have a number of experienced veterinarians practicing at Bayside Veterinary Hospital who specialize in care for different animals. Not all our veterinarians provide care for the same animals, however, so if you have a pocket pet, rabbit, bird, reptile or small farm animal, please call ahead to learn more about the veterinary care options that are available to you and your pet.
Unlike some big veterinary hospitals, our animal vet clinic has a relaxed, family-owned atmosphere that welcomes children, families and pets. Our comfortable environment will immediately put you and your pet at ease. And while our atmosphere may be relaxed, our approach to pet care is very serious. We are passionately committed to providing superior vet care services that feature the latest technology and diagnostic tools available to veterinary hospitals.
Dr. Rozsa believes prevention is truly the best treatment, and we encourage all pet owners to bring their pets in for an annual wellness check-up. This will also ensure we keep your pet up-to-date on vaccinations and receiving optimal nutrition care. We also provide spay neuter operations, deworming, and flea and tick prevention.
Our wellness approach goes beyond basic care. Our dental cleanings remove plaque and tartar from your pet’s teeth, reducing the risk of gum disease and infection. Our dog groomer will keep your pet looking and feeling his or her best. We also have veterinary dermatologists on staff for the treatment of allergies and skin diseases in animals. We are one of the only San Diego veterinary hospitals to offer this important service to our pets.
In the event of an emergency, our animal hospital is equipped with the latest diagnostic technology to accurately diagnose and treat your pet. Bayside Veterinary Hospital is an “open hospital”, meaning that our veterinarians welcome all San Diego pets for any reason. In the event of an emergency, bring your pet directly to our animal hospital; if possible, please call ahead so we can have a veterinarian meet you upon arrival.
We invite you to learn more about our approach to pet care by exploring our website or visiting our animal vet clinic. To make an appointment, you can use our online appointment request form or call us directly at 619-225-8000
